Representatives of print and TV media visited our lab and listened to our CEO Dr. Alexander Schmidt and our CTO Dr. Vinzenz Lange presenting the DKMS mission and the lab's contribution and innovations. Afterward, the media representatives were invited to a guided tour through the lab with several "photo" stops. Dr. Vinzenz Lange never got a moment's rest and was needed as an interview partner for almost an hour longer than expected. The TV channel MDR broadcasted its clip about our lab the same evening.

Since its foundation in 1997, DKMS Life Science Lab has pioneered groundbreaking innovation. We were the first HLA typing laboratory worldwide to use the new technology Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for high-throughput typing. This multiplied our performance and enabled DKMS to register even more new stem cell donors daily.
